The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 21, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
The 3rd District Continues To Support The Longest Day in 2023
Inspired by Audun Gythfeldt and initiated by Kathy Dolly-more, The Third District has now sponsored a TEAM for five years running. One need only read the news to real-ize that we are coming closer every day to a time when dementia can be managed, perhaps prevented and even cured! We don’t need to look any further than the members of our own lodges to come face to face with the harsh realities of Alzheimers/ Dementia.
