On April 8, 2017, members of Blafjell Lodge participated in the D-DayMemorial Scout Day in Bedford, Virginia. The program presenter at our site was Erik Brun, president of the 99th Infantry Battalion (Separate) WWII Education Foundation….. a wonderful presenter, holding the six scout groups’ attention.
Reserve May 20 for the annual Local Colors Festival in Roanoke. Again we will have Nordic baked goods for sale, and as part of our Julefest-in-May emphasis we will also sell wonderful hand-made felt ornaments.
